The spokesperson for the negotiating committee said Iran is determined to follow the other side’s implementation of its commitments carefully and seriously.
Today’s meeting is to follow up on the implementation of the ceasefire memorandum. Under paragraph 13 of the memorandum, the start of talks on a final agreement depends on implementing paragraphs 1, 4, 5, 10, and 11. Without carrying out these provisions, especially paragraph 1, which covers ending the war on all fronts, including Lebanon, it is not possible to enter the stage of negotiations for a final agreement.
Today’s talks are focused on implementing those paragraphs, especially paragraph 1, as well as reviewing the measures set out for implementing paragraph 10, on Iranian oil exports, and paragraph 11, on releasing frozen Iranian assets.

The document on the Digital Economy System is awaiting meetings of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace.
A one-year halt in council meetings
Amir Sayyah, deputy for economic affairs at the National Center for Cyberspace, said digital economy can help businesses damaged by the war and people who have lost their jobs. At today’s meeting of the National Center for Cyberspace, proposals were raised to support these groups, and some bodies asked regulators to cooperate during this period.
He said the document on the Digital Economy System has been approved by the High Commission, but final issuance still requires approval from the Supreme Council of Cyberspace, which has not held a meeting for about a year.
He added that the digital economy should play its national role in the post-war period and help the country move through the economic crisis by creating opportunities for sales and revenue, but deciding the fate of major documents in this area requires regular meetings of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace.

Embroidered dresses: another name for Palestine
Fatemeh Fanuneh is 95 years old and Palestinian, one of millions of Palestinian refugees. She was 18 when the Nakba took place, and hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were expelled and displaced from their land, at the same time that, through a conspiracy involving Britain, the United States, and the United Nations, more than half of Palestine was deeded to Jewish immigrants and marked as Israel.
There is not much that can be packed into the bundles of exile when you do not know where you are going or what darker fate than the Nakba awaits you. But Palestinian mothers could not part with one thing: their embroidered clothes and dresses. They wrapped them up and took them wherever the flood of displacement carried them.
Fatemeh was young, 18, when her mother gave her a bundle full of beautiful, colorful, short and long dresses. Keep this, she said. These clothes are treasure, capital, land. These clothes are الوطن, our homeland is Palestine. As long as this dress, this art, and this culture live, Palestine exists too, and so does the hope of return.
77 years have passed since then. Fatemeh is now 95, and she has brought out the bundle of clothes her mother left her. She has spread the dresses around her like a raised Palestinian flag and gently touches them one by one. On the soft embroidered dresses, on the soil of her homeland: These clothes are older than Israel... The occupying Jews have nothing of their own. That land is ours. We will return to our land, to our homeland. We will return to ourselves. Palestine is our homeland.

Goudarzi said the current market situation and the imbalance in officials’ performance are unacceptable.
The parliament’s spokesperson said that in a virtual meeting of lawmakers to review the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade’s performance, reports from the Industry Committee and the ministry on measures taken to improve industrial resilience and maintain the production chain across the country were discussed.
He said the focus should be on key areas such as creating alternative corridors in the north and east of the country, securing funding to revive and modernize industries, easing trade, currency and customs policies, and drafting support packages to ensure the stability of the national production chain.
Lawmakers, on behalf of the people, protested uncontrolled inflation and rising prices.
He added that although the effects of war and enemy-imposed pressure on the market are understandable for both the public and officials, it should not be forgotten that weak market oversight, price volatility caused by leaving prices unchecked, and the failure to take firm action against economic corruptors stem from imbalance and poor performance by some officials.

A former Pentagon adviser says U.S. hegemony in the region has ended and Iran’s regional power has been consolidated.
Former U.S. Defense Department adviser Colonel Douglas Macgregor said:
We should expect this region to be run by two great powers that have dominated it for hundreds and even thousands of years.
One is the Turks and the other is the Persians, whom we now call Iranians. These two powers will now dominate everything, because our strategic influence has been severely weakened as a result of this war.

Iran’s national football team plays Belgium tonight in its second World Cup match, with attention turning to Romelu Lukaku after Jeremy Doku’s absence.
The Napoli striker, who is still not fully fit after recovering somewhat from a long-term injury, does not seem ready to play 90 minutes. But Garcia’s comments at the pre-match press conference suggest his presence in this game is all but certain.
The second-highest European scorer in men’s international football history made a major impact on Belgium’s goal against Egypt in less than 30 seconds after coming on. Given his unique physical presence, he will be the main threat to Iran’s defense while on the pitch.
After Khalilzadeh and Nemati failed to contain New Zealand’s attacking players, the main challenge for Ghalenoei in getting a result against Belgium will be stopping Lukaku, along with stars such as De Bruyne and Trossard.
Do you think Iran’s defense can stop this 190-cm star, who has scored 90 goals in 127 matches for Belgium?
